"Flight of Magic" Official Selection of the 7th Annual Philadelphia Film & Animation Festival
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 7th ANNUAL PHILADELPHIA FILM & ANIMATION FESTIVAL PROMISES TO BE BEST YET
Philadelphia... September 15th, 2012... Project Twenty1, the Norristown, PA-based non-profit, will hold it's 7th annual Philadelphia Film & Animation Festival (PFAF) from September 27th-30th at the International House Philadelphia's Ibrahim Theater at 3701 Chestnut St., Philadelphia and various venues throughout the University City neighborhood of Philadelphia.
This year's festival will welcome over 100 short & feature length films, including over 40 World Premieres. Last year, PFAF welcomed to Philadelphia over 2,000 filmmakers and attendees from all around the globe.
Beyond the screenings, this year's PFAF will host educational workshops on everything from screenwriting to working with SAG and AFTRA talent to entertainment law. Other events include nightly parties, including Friday Night FX, a pre-Halloween celebration to effects makeup, and a red-carpet Awards Show on Sunday, September 30th. PFAF also acts as the World Premiere for the 33 entries on this year's 21-Day Filmmaking Competition, which this year features filmmaking Teams from around the country and as far as Hong Kong. 2012 judges and awards presenters will include Derek Dressler (writer, Disney), Kea Kelly Shaw (producer, MTV), Philadelphia-area film professor Lowell Boston, filmmaker James Rolfe (The Angry Video Game Nerd), Bart Makatche (executive producer, Nancy Glass Productions) and many more.
