"The Last Ride" Available on Blu-ray and DVD June 4th

At the end of 1952, with the best years of Hank Williams' career behind him, he hires a local kid to drive him through the Appalachian countryside for a pair of New Year's shows in West Virginia and Ohio. "The Last Ride" is about the final and fatal downfall of the legendary song writer and singer.

The movie is directed by Harry Thomason, long time personal friend and colleague of Spiderwood Studios Executive Tommy G. Warren. Thomason, a legend in his own right, was also Producer/Director of TV shows "Designing Women" and "Evening Shade". Harry and Tommy were also close friends with the late Charles B. Pierce, Producer/Director of the "Legend of Boggy Creek", all three grew up in the same area of Arkansas.
